Just a quick post

So, Mill’s End Cafe no longer has free wireless internet access, which is a bummer. Also, my laptop cannot even see the network of their new, for-pay service, so I don’t even know if I’d want to pay for it. But they do have a single terminal where I can pop ina dollar for ten minutes access. After two days sitting here writing I’ve decided to do so, to make a quick post. I can’t check my email right now, I’ll do that tonight after I bus home from Tempe. I spent the night at Art’s place last night (thanks Art and Callie!) and got back out here and back to work today. So far I’ve got a little over 22 pages written in two days, so not off to a bad start. I plan to bus back to my dad’s place tonight, but then I have to come back out here tomorrow anyway. (I lent a friend who works here my CP copy of Forlorn, and her next shift is tomorrow morning. I sure would like ot get it back.) Plus, if I can convince someone they want to drive me back to north phoenix afterwards, I will likely be able to attend the poetry slam at Essenza tomorrow night. Hey Coup, you wanna come out to the poetry slam? Your charms and good looks are more likely to get you a ride back to that side of town than mine, and maybe I can hitch a ride back with you. ::winkwink:: Anyway, something will happen. Everything’s going to be fine.

Not much time left on this dime, so I’m going to hit save and hope it finishes rebuilding. If you’re an east valley resident who wants to make contact with me today or tomorrow call me. If you don’t have my number, sigh, I won’t be able to get an email from you until I get home tonight. OH well. Later.

  1. I can’t give you a ride back, but I’m definitely going to be there until at least 9:30ish, maybe later. I turn into a pumpkin at 10:30 though, and I’d be afraid they’d try to make me into some sort of baked good, knowing those rascals.
