Okay. One Hour Photo just started playing at the Camelview in Scottsdale. I know some of you wanted to go see an evil Robin Williams, but I can’t remember who. If you’d like to go see One Hour Photo with Edison and I, please call me or email me ASAP so we can make plans. I know many people are going out of town this weekend, but I’m busy weekdays now, so it has to be on the weekend. Perferably this weekend.

Yeah, but do you want to see the movie they made about them? Cheaper than actually getting one hour photos in many places, but with more robin williams.

Do I want to see it? Of course I do. There aen’t really any movies that I would refuse to see if I just had the money for it. Out money tree does not seem to be in bloom right now. I don’t know why? I feed it, and water it, I even talk to it but still no money!!

I also enjoy movies with a dark feel to it. Esp robin williams as a dark cahracter, black comedy is one of my fav’s. This week was hell with work, and am on standby for souther AZ, but next week I am shooting for a 5 day weekend to get caught up at the house, hopefully I can see a movie then also.

When Marie blew me off for the third day in a row, I ended up going to see One Hour Photo with Art. Robin Williams was excellent, and I would nominate him for the Best Actor I’ve seen so far this year. There were other elements of the movie that I felt were a little weak, or that felt edited down. Since the movie was only about 95 minutes, I wonder how much movie they shot. It felt like they edited it down to focus more on Sy and less on the family, but it seemed like they did the overall picture a disservice. Perhaps there was more to it. Perhaps the characters were not very well developed in the screenplay, either. Some of the things we saw seemed to just be items from a checklist of things we need to see stalkers do before we believe they are stalkers, not properly integrated into the characters or the flow of the movie.
I was hoping to be able to do a review of it, but I’ll have to see what Edison thinks about that, since his opinions may differ greatly from mine.
