I have a bit of a toothache. It reminds me to go to the dentist. Knowing my teeth though, by the time I’m home from work or in any position to try to find a dentist and make an appointment, my tooth won’t be reminding me anymore. Of course, with school starting in a few short weeks, now is the time to try to get anything done. I’m basically busy every weekday for the rest of the year after August 26th. And I’m sure that schoolwork and trying to catch up on everything else from the week will gladly fill in m weekends. Looking forward to crazy times. Don’t really know what I’ll do with myself.
I need to try to get into classes this week. The payment deadline is tomorrow, so depending upon which of the people I spoke to is right, people will be dropped from classes not paid for by tomorrow morning at 9, or Friday morning at 9. I will check in every day this week, and if there is an opening, I will take it. If there is not an opening, I will have to get an override from the professors of the two classes I want to take. Actually, I plan to talk to the professors before the classes start, either way; I want to be sure I’m fully prepared for both classes before they begin, and to form a healthy relationship with my teachers early on. We’ll see how things go this week, and go from there.
This weeked I did a bit of cooking. Saturday I made a small batch of baccula. Sunday I baked chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t have enough yeast to make enough dough for all the fish I had, so I’ll make more baccula as soon as I go shopping. Also, I think I undermixed my cookiedough. I need to get one of those big $300 standing mixers with enough torque to properly mix doughs. Oh, and while I’m at it, I may as well get the other $5-10,000 of cooking-related equipment I’d like. Pots and pans and dozens of hand-tools, a large wok, a dutch oven, a pressure cooker, a slow-cooker, a food processor, a couple of cutting boards, a full set of Calphalon (commercial-grade) cookware, an ice-cream maker, a waffle iron, and so many other things… When I buy a home, I’d like to get an Advantium oven, and the model I want is about $1500.
Bah.

I guess I should clarify, the toothache is not something I want, I actually have my own bad teeth to worry about and Kalvin has a couple that I can worry about too… and the hectic life schedule I seem to have one of my own in that catagory also.
