I just wanted to let everyone know I’m having a migraine, so you can see that i really don’t get them very often. This is the first one I’ve had since the last time i posted about the subject. Also, the pre-headache blindness was primarily on the right side of my vision this time, so it probably isn’t some nasty tumor on the right side of my brain. If it’s a tumor, it’s probably taken over my whole brain.
Luckily for me, when I mentioned to someone that I had a weird blind spot in the middle of my vision, they reminded me that I should probably take a handfull of pills and lay down for a while; I would have missed the meaning until it was perhaps too late. So, because I took plenty of the appropriate over-the-counter medicine before the pain even started, and proceeded to lay still with my eyes closed in a cool room for about an hour, hour-and-a-half, the pain only ever reached the level of the worst sinus headache a non-migraine-sufferer can get. Hooray!
