Mountain Dew, now with electricity!

The carpet here at work is such that every time anyone walks across it, even for a short trip to the printer, for instance, they generate a strong static electric charge and get ZAPPED, usually when they get back to their desk. I have a colleague who always grabs his headset first when he gets back to his desk and he literally shorts out his phone every day. Sometimes twice a day. Well, today I decided to have a mountain dew instead of kool-aid (there is a point where drinking a gallon of sugar free kool-aid a day gets old, and you have to mix it up a little), and I somehow managed to put in my money and press the button for mountain dew without a spark, but when I grabbed the can, ZAP! Then I set it on my desk and walked away to grab a fax that just came in and when I came back to my desk I ZAPPED it again. So, will the Mountain Dew taste better with a few extra electrons? Let’s find out.

  1. No. Electric Mountain Dew tastes mostly like regular Mountain Dew.

Although it did make my hair stand on end.

    (I think.)
