I am so good at calling Cox Communications to ask them if the full Cox High Speed internet access is available at my address yet that I just did it in under three minutes. From dialing to yet another apology and a promise in about 150 seconds. This guy said “no later than the end of March” with syncs pretty well with the last guy, who said “maybe Spring 2002 at the earliest”. Hopefully, since I have my own cable modem and networking equipment they’ll just let me hook myself up when the time comes & I can avoid that nasty installation fee & having to take of work to meet with a Cox employee.
Actually, I think I’ll plug everything together when my new Mac comes, and then as soon as the service is available, I’ll be online, right?
