I want flying shoes

Hey, does anyone want to go in with me on 3500 pair of Flying Shoes[original link dead – now via archive.org]? I could really use a pair of Flying Shoes. I don’t know what I’d do with the other 3499 pair that come in a minimum order, though. Have 3498 friends?

  1. Should I email them and mention that I have desireability? How much do you think they want to know? They said please.

  3. You say “A little more”, but based on my understanding of the “shoes” industry, you mean “10 times more” or the like.

Damnit. I guess 10x is cheaper than 3500x + shipping.

  5. You know, you can get those kind of shoes from many different companies these days. As a matter of fact Kalvin saw an informercial during his cartoons for shoes like that about a year ago and since then I have seen many kids with them. But of course, if you have to have those, maybe you could consider some kind of side business selling skate shoes on the street. You could stand on Mill and comment to passersby, “Wouldn’t it be so nice to ‘Fly’ down the street instead of just walking?”

  7. I’m not sure I actually want this product. I think it was the masterful salesmanship on that web-page that made me think I wanted flying shoes. As we should all know, I never leaned to roller-skate. I don’t believe that adding wheels to tennis shoes will help. However, if “flight” were to be added to shoes, I would definitely be interested.
