Painting on my TV again

I spend a lot of time waiting for paint to dry. I think the most interesting way to watch paint dry is with half a TV show fighting its way through.

I’m painting on my TV again. Jennifer Connelly this time. Should be interesting.

Should be interesting watching TV for the next day or two through partially completed or half-dry images obscuring the view.

  1. I finished the first of three images I know I want to steal from the Requiem For A Dream DVD last night before going to bed. The largest of the three, I believe, but perhaps the least detailed. I am using an almost entirely different technique for painting the frozen image than I did with Tyler Durden, and I have not yet had a chance to see the result. The anticipation is delicious. I think it will be pretty well done, and hopefully I can maintain the same style of work for the duration of the three “screen captures” for this painting. I’ve also begun to frame in more detail what the final image will look like (my original conception did not take into account that the images would be the reverse of what appears on the screen).
