The sound of one hand typing

Sometimes I feel like everything I’m typing here is like a verbose form of whining. Usually not while I’m writing it, because then it’s my trying to get out the ideas that are in me. Maybe what’s in me is whiny. Maybe I’m just being self-critical to too high a degree. Maybe I’m whining about myself right now. How would I know? I can’t listen to the tone to see if it is coming through audibly, and I seem to have lost the people who cared enough to comment. Either because everything I’m saying makes sense or because I’m so awful I’ve driven them away. Or maybe I’m being too self-centered in all of this, and there aren’t comments for some other rational reason, like people have lives of their own.

Maybe the benefit of extra sleep is an active mind. I have written more things today than any recent day. I do not know if it is because my mind is sharp from getting plenty of sleep, or if it is just a confluence of events that has swum across the surface of my mind. I want to get this in today, so I’ll post it now. I’m not sure if I have something else to say.

  1. I haven’t said anything for lack of a reason to. I’ve found myself in a weird place with you recently where I think of things I’d like to metnion to you, and I see things that I think I’d like to let you know about, and then I forget and just don’t. I sometimes get off of work and think to myself that I should call you and just say have and nice day and I love you, but then I think it’s Saturday so I shouldn’t wake you, or I fall asleep at 5 am or I go to the gym and lose my motor skills. I think I’m in a weird place and have projected that to our relatiosnhip or something. Anyway.

Also a lot of your posts are about things that are difficult to comment on. Like, Hey, went to the grocery store, really? me too. I’m up for helping you move or pack or whatever in afternoons. See you on Saturday.

  3. How about those grocery stores? Full of groceries! I sure do like groceries. Something about eating help keep me alive, I think, and being alive allows me to feel, and feeling is the verb in “feeling good”. Eating allows me to feel good.

Also, Space Crack is good. I’m not sure what for, but look at some of these sentences!

  5. So, I know I’m invited to the party. But I think it’s neat how I haven’t recieved a paper invitation, and I probably won’t.

  7. INVITATION TO PARTY FOR MARIE.

Now print this page and cut the above text out. Voila!

  8. Actually, there should be plenty of paper invitations leftover to hand out to actual partygoers who attend. If you’d like to pick up your invitation BEFORE the party, feel free to stop by at that time.
